The said laws are highly criticized for absence of time lines to take actions required for protection of the cultural and historical heritage of the nation. The Archaeological Survey of India and respective State Departments of Archaeology are failed to protect many ancient monuments including temples, hence the laws are highly violative of the right to religion and right to protect cultural heritage as well as not fulfilling the duty to protect cultural heritage of Bharat.
